What causes this issue?

You want to use text type '&V1&'. This has not yet been created in the
text type table, however..

How to fix this error?

Create the text type for the current text object. To do this, go to the
intial screen of this transaction, select your text object and press
'text types'. Add text type '&V1&' together with a short text
description in the text type table.
