Message type: E = Error
Message class: UV - Measurement of Concurrent Users
Message number: 030
Message text: Number of users logged on simultaneously
This statistic shows how many users are logged onto the system
concurrently. This is important from a licensing point of view to
compare this to the number os users set in the concurrent user license.
The system determines the number of concurrent users per client.
Multiple logons of one user at the same terminal are counted as one
logon. You can display the total statistics for all clients or
statistics for each individual client.
The SAP concurrent user license specifies how many users are allowed
to be logged onto the system concurrently. If your system is running
under a concurrent user license, compare the number of logged on users
displayed to the permitted number in your license to determine whether
you are within the limits set by the license.

to view active user sessions. Identify and log off any inactive or unnecessary sessions.- Increase User Limit: If you have the necessary licenses, consider increasing the maximum number of concurrent users in the system settings. This typically requires administrative access and may involve contacting SAP support or your SAP account manager.
- Review License Agreement: Ensure that your current license allows for the number of users you need. If necessary, negotiate for additional licenses.
- Session Management: Implement better session management practices, such as setting timeouts for inactive sessions or educating users to log off when not in use.
- Monitor Background Jobs: Check for any background jobs that may be consuming user sessions and adjust their configuration if necessary.
