For charts of accounts that are to replicated to FIN-SAM-BCS, it must be
possible to derive a consolidation area; otherwise the processing in the

To do this, the system analyzes the associated item hierarchies in
FIN-MDM. However, it was unable to determine a consolidation area for
    chart of accounts &V1&.

    System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    How to fix this error?

If the target application is not FIN-SEM-BCS, or if the consolidation
area is set in the message using a BAdI prior to the inbound processing
in the target system, you can ignore this message.
Otherwise, first define an item hierarchy in FIN-MDM based on chart of
accounts &V1& and assign a valid consolidation area to it.
