Message text: Changes of edition type may lead to corrupt change request data
You have changed the edition type of the change request type.
If there are no change requests of this change request type in the MDG
system landscape the edition type can be changed without negative
impact.
If the new edition type is compatible (e.g. a copy of the former edition
type with the same or a compatible data model and the same entity types)
with the former edition type, the change request data of existing change
requests remain consistent.
If the edition type of this change request type has been changed and the
new edition type is not compatible with the former edition type, and
change requests of this change request type already exist in the MDG
system landscape, all of these change requests are corrupt.
The object list as well as inactive data of such a change request do not
match the assigned entities anymore. It is not possible to delete such a
change request. Change request data and the object list from finalized
change requests are also corrupt.
You can ignore this message if the edition type is compatible with the
former edition type or if no change request has yet been created of that
change request type in the MDG system landscape.
Do not make any other changes to the edition type of that change request
type.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
