  • What causes this issue?

    The tool for extended administration of Unicode Reference Device Types
    does not modify existing URDTs. It is only able to create new URDTs.
    This procedure is required to prohibit modifications of URDTs delivered
    by SAP.

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    Please specify a different name for the target URDT (in customer
    namespace). If you want to use the new URDT for example for an output
    device which currently uses the source URDT, you have to manually assign
    the new URDT to that output device.
