Message text: Character mappings for ABAP list printing cannot be edited
You tried to edit character mappings for the ABAPLIST font
The system does not allow editing (i.e. modification) of character
mappings for ABAP list printing with a Unicode Reference Device Type
(URDT). Only display mode is allowed.
The reason behind this is that, for ABAP list printing (in contrast to
OTF printing from SAPscript or Smart Forms), no font metrics exist in a
device type, and thus no individual mappings between a Unicode codepoint
(i.e. a character) and a TrueType font from the font repository can be
recorded.
All characters in an ABAP list which get printed via the URDT must make
use of the same TrueType font which is assigned for ABAP list printing
in the URDT.
The program continues in display mode.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
