What causes this issue?

You have assigned multiple, but identical, workflow variants to document
type &V1&. This is not allowed.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

Make sure you assign only different workflow variants to document type
&V1&, and delete all workflow variants assigned multiple times.
