What causes this issue?

The BI query for data input is being opened in a new window.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

You can resume working in the Consolidation Monitor, regardless of data
input. However, the entered data will be available to the functions in
the Consolidation Monitor only after saving. Furthermore, other data
entry layouts can be started only after you have closed the new query
window. The status in the Consolidation Monitor is not automatically
updated until you trigger an update yourself.
