  • What causes this issue?

    You added to the field catalog a single element that is forcibly linked
    to another element. This can occur in the following situations:
    If a key figure has a unit, this unit must also be contained in the
    field catalog of the type.
    When a characteristic is compounded with a higher-level characteristic,
    the higher-level characteristic must also be contained in the field
    catalog of the type.

    System Response

    The system adds the necessary fields to the type - automatically if
    possible.

    How to fix this error?

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
