  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

During the upload of a costing structure into the product design cost
estimate, it was attempted to create a costing object or costing link.
However, this is not possible, because the costing object is missing or
a costing object is missing for the link.

    System Response

The costing object or costing link is not created. Thus the entire
    costing structure cannot be imported.

    How to fix this error?

As a rule this is a followup error which is caused because a costing
object could not be created in a previous upload step.
Check whether upload actions are defined for all relevant item
categories in the Customizing of product design cost estimate under
    <DS:SIMG.UA_UPLCMD>Determine Actions</> and <DS:SIMG.UA_UPLMAP>Assign
Fields</>. Also check whether assignments to the appropriate
fields of the source structure are maintained for the key and required
entry fields of the object and node types concerned.

    Procedure for System Administrators

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
