SAP Error Message - Details

  • Message type: E = Error

  • Message class: TO - Transport Organizer and Tools

  • Message number: 133

  • Message text: No valid development license exists for namespace &1

  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

    This SAP system does not have a valid development license for the
    namespace &V1&.

    System Response

    You cannot edit objects from namespace &V1& in this SAP system.
    It is not possible to create the namespace &V1& with the namespace role
    <LB>P</> (producer) without specifying a valid development license.
    At import, the namespace role is set to C (consumer).

    How to fix this error?

    Have your system administrator check the change licenses of the
    namespace &V1& in your SAP system.
    Edit the namespaces using the Transport Organizer tools: Transaction
    SE03 -> <LS>Administration</> -> <LS>Display/change namespaces</>.
    You need to distinguish between the following cases:
    The namespace begins with "/0SAP":
    Make sure that the namespace role is "C" (consumer) and the indicators
    "SSCR Popup" and "SAP Standard" are activated. The license fields remain
    empty.
    You have not created the namespace yourself, but the owner of the
    namespace is SAP AG or another software manufacturer:
    Make sure that the namespace role is "C" (consumer). The valid license
    must either be entered in the field <LS>Repair license</>, or the "SSCR
    popup" indicator must be activated. Contact the owner of the namespace,
    who can tell you what you need to do and what the valid repair license
    is. You yourself are the owner of the namespace: Contact the namespace
    owner and ask what you should now do, and what the valid repair license
    is.
    You are the namespace owner:
    Proceed according to the documentation on applying for and setting up
    namespaces. The documentation describes how you can obtain the valid
    development and repair license.
