What causes this issue?

The correspondence cannot be printed, as no output device (and
consequently, no format type) has been defined.

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

Enter an output device under the user defaults:
System -> User profile -> <DS:TRAN.SU3>Own data</>
