- Table & has no transportable package. ?The SAP error message SV343 indicates that a specific table (denoted by
&
) does not have a transportable package associated with it. This typically occurs when you are trying to transport a table or its data from one SAP system to another, and the table is not included in a transport package.Cause:
- Missing Transport Package: The table was created or modified in a development environment but was not assigned to a transport package.
- Local Object: The table might be defined as a local object (i.e., it is not intended to be transported).
- Transport Directory Issues: There may be issues with the transport directory or configuration that prevent the table from being included in a transport package.
Solution:
Assign to a Transport Package:
- Go to the Data Dictionary (transaction SE11).
- Find the table in question.
- Check if it is assigned to a transport package. If not, you can assign it to a transport package.
- If you need to create a new transport package, you can do so in transaction SE01 or SE09.
Create a Transport Request:
- If the table is not in a transport request, create a new transport request and include the table in it.
- Use transaction SE09 or SE10 to manage transport requests.
Check Local Object:
- If the table is a local object (indicated by the object name starting with
$TMP
), you will need to create a transportable version of the table.- You can do this by copying the table definition to a new transportable object.
Review Transport Configuration:
- Ensure that your transport configuration is set up correctly. Check the transport routes and ensure that the transport directory is accessible.
Consult Documentation:
- Refer to SAP documentation or support notes for any specific instructions related to your version of SAP.
