- No entries exist, double-click for long text ?The SAP error message SV065 ("No entries exist") typically indicates that the system could not find any relevant data for the operation you are trying to perform. This error can occur in various contexts, such as when querying a database table, executing a report, or accessing a specific transaction.
Causes:
- No Data Available: The most straightforward cause is that there are simply no entries in the database table or dataset you are trying to access.
- Selection Criteria: The selection criteria you have specified may be too restrictive, leading to no results being returned.
- Authorization Issues: You may not have the necessary authorizations to view the data in question.
- Data Deletion: The data you are trying to access may have been deleted or archived.
- Incorrect Configuration: There may be configuration issues in the system that prevent data from being displayed.
Solutions:
- Check Data Availability: Verify if there are indeed entries in the relevant database table or dataset. You can do this by using transaction codes like SE11 (Data Dictionary) or SE16 (Data Browser) to check the table directly.
- Review Selection Criteria: Reassess the selection criteria you are using. Try broadening the criteria to see if any data can be retrieved.
- Authorization Check: Ensure that you have the necessary authorizations to access the data. You may need to contact your SAP security team to verify your permissions.
- Consult with IT Support: If you suspect that data has been deleted or if there are configuration issues, reach out to your IT support or SAP Basis team for assistance.
- Check for Filters: If you are using a report or transaction that allows filtering, ensure that no filters are applied that would exclude all data.
