What causes this issue?

You have requested an element that is no longer valid. Elements become
in valid if the corresponding service provider definition (transaction
SRMREGEDIT) is modified or deleted.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

Delete the reference to the element or, if possible, undo the changes
to the service provider definition.
