What causes this issue?

To generate a view, certain criteria are predefined by the user for
node selection. In the current case, no node in the reference
corresponds to the specified criteria. No new view can therefore be
generated.
Application components must be selected during enterprise or company
IMG generation. No IMG activities are assigned to the chosen components.

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
