  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

Package &V4& is in maintenance mode. This means that you can make only
corrections to errors in this package; you cannot develop any new
objects, or make any incompatible changes (such as changes to the
interface). This is the same as in a Support Package system.
The system administrator has set package &V4& so that only a few object
types in it can be changed or created.
    The object you are editing:
    &V1& &V2& &V3&
cannot be changed or created in package &V4&.

    System Response

The function terminates. Changes are not saved.

    How to fix this error?

If you want to change an existing object, first check whether the
change is really a correction to an error, or some other unavoidable
modification. If the change is urgent, contact your Q Manager, so that
he or she can approve an exception for the object
    &V1& &V2& &V3&
    in the system.
If you want to create a new object, create it in a package that is not
in maintenance mode, where you can develop new objects. Your Q Manager
can tell you which packages in your development area are approved for
    new developments.
If you have any other questions, speak to your QaP (Quality and
    Planning) contact.
