  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

Additional information, 'activation links', are created or updated for
all data records activated for a BC Set.
This error occurs when the program does not find internal data required
to create or update these activation links for customizing object &V1&
(object type &V2&), when activating a BC Set. This is usually because
the data records of the customizing object were not activated. This
includes the creation, changing and deletion of data records.
In the special case that all data records of the customizing object are
to be deleted in the activation system, and not all these data records
were in the system, you can ignore this message.

    System Response

None, or not all activation links are created or updated for the object.
This affects the BC Set functions 'Lock Values' and 'Source of Values'.
This error does not affect the activation of the data, that is, whether
the data for a customizing object is written into the system tables when
activating, is independent of the occurrence of this error.

    How to fix this error?

Check the activation log for the cause of the problem, and reactivate.
If this does not help, create and activate a new BC Set, containing data
only for this customizing object. If the problem persists, contact SAP.

    Procedure for System Administrators

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
