  • What causes this issue?

The generated statistics records of a dialog step are, for reasons of
performance, first stored in a local buffer area and written to the
sequential statistics file only after the buffer is full. The number of
records to be held in the buffer can be set in the "stat/recno" profile
    parameter.
Therefore, it can happen that current records are not yet available in
    the sequential statistics file.

    System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
