  • What is the cause and solution for SAP error message RSSM_TT010 - Data mart status for object &3(&4) is not complete ?

The SAP error message RSSM_TT010 indicates that the data mart status for a specific object is not complete. This typically occurs in the context of SAP BW (Business Warehouse) when there are issues with the data mart's data load or processing.

    Cause:

    1. Incomplete Data Load: The data mart may not have completed its data load process, which can happen due to various reasons such as:

      • Errors during the extraction, transformation, or loading (ETL) process.
      • Missing or incomplete data in the source system.
      • Issues with the data transfer process.
    2. Data Mart Configuration Issues: There may be configuration problems with the data mart itself, such as incorrect settings or missing objects.

    3. Process Chain Failures: If the data mart is part of a process chain, any failure in the process chain can lead to an incomplete status.

    4. Locking Issues: Sometimes, data locks can prevent the data mart from being updated or processed correctly.

    Solution:

    1. Check Data Load Status:

      • Go to the Data Warehousing Workbench (transaction RSA1) and check the status of the data load for the specific data mart.
      • Look for any error messages or warnings that may indicate what went wrong during the load process.
    2. Review Process Chains:

      • If the data mart is part of a process chain, check the process chain logs for any failures or issues.
      • Restart the process chain if necessary, ensuring that all steps are executed successfully.
    3. Reprocess the Data Mart:

      • If the data load was incomplete, you may need to reprocess the data mart. This can be done by executing the data load again or by using the "Manage Data Mart" functionality in RSA1.
    4. Check for Locks:

      • Ensure that there are no locks on the data mart or related objects that could be preventing updates. You can use transaction SM12 to check for and remove locks.
    5. Review Configuration:

      • Verify the configuration settings for the data mart to ensure that everything is set up correctly.
    6. Consult Logs:

      • Check the application logs (transaction SLG1) for any additional error messages that may provide more context on the issue.
