Message text: Could not start RDA daemon; completed delta requests not activated
You tried to start a daemon for real-time data acquisition (RDA) to
which the data transfer process &V1& is assigned. The target of this
DTP (InfoProvider &V2&) contains completed delta requests that were not
yet activated. One of these requests is &V3&.
The RDA daemon can only be started once all completed delta requests
have been activated in the InfoProvider &V2&.
If you want to define further parameters for InfoProvider &V2&by RDA,
activate all the completed delta requests in the InfoProvider.
If you do not want to define further parameters for InfoProvider &V2& by
RDA, delete the assignment of data transfer process &V1& to the
DataSource in the context menu of the DTP.
Then start the RDA daemon again.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

- Review Configuration: Check the configuration settings for the RDA in the SAP BW system. Ensure that all settings are correct and that the data source is properly configured.
- Check Authorizations: Ensure that the user account running the RDA daemon has the necessary authorizations to access the data sources and perform the required operations.
- Monitor System Resources: Check the system resources to ensure that there are enough CPU and memory available for the RDA daemon to start.
- Review Logs: Check the SAP system logs (transaction
SM21
) and the RDA logs for any additional error messages or warnings that could provide more context on the issue.- Network Connectivity: Ensure that there are no network issues between the source system and the BW system. Test connectivity and check for any firewall rules that might be blocking communication.
- Consult SAP Notes: Look for relevant SAP Notes or Knowledge Base Articles (KBAs) that may address this specific error or provide additional troubleshooting steps.
