REMPT356
- Action &2 already executed for planned order &1. No change ?The SAP error message REMPT356 indicates that an action has already been executed for a planned order, and therefore, no changes can be made to that order. This message typically arises in the context of production planning and execution, where certain actions (like confirmations, releases, or changes) are restricted once they have been performed.
Cause:
- Action Already Executed: The primary cause of this error is that the planned order has already undergone the action you are trying to perform. For example, if you are trying to change the status of a planned order that has already been released or confirmed, SAP will prevent this action.
- System Locking Mechanism: SAP has built-in mechanisms to prevent changes to orders that are in certain statuses to maintain data integrity and avoid inconsistencies.
- User Permissions: Sometimes, the user may not have the necessary permissions to perform the action on the planned order.
Solution:
- Check Order Status: Review the status of the planned order to confirm what actions have already been executed. You can do this by navigating to the planned order in the relevant transaction (e.g., CO02 for production orders).
- Review Change Logs: Check the change logs for the planned order to see what actions have been performed and by whom. This can provide insight into why the action cannot be executed again.
- Revert or Cancel Actions: If applicable, you may need to revert or cancel the previous action (if the system allows it) before attempting to make changes to the planned order.
- Consult with a Supervisor: If you believe you should be able to perform the action, consult with a supervisor or system administrator to ensure you have the necessary permissions or to understand the business process better.
- Use Alternative Transactions: If the action you are trying to perform is not allowed, consider using alternative transactions or processes that align with the current status of the planned order.
