  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

According to your settings, the system is to create several planned
orders in one posting step. However, this is not possible for technical
reasons. The reasons for this behaviour could include:
You defined in the control cycle that the rounding quantity is a real,
integral multiple of the fixed kanban quantity.
When creating the event-driven kanbans, you entered a quantity that is a
real, integral multiple of the fixed kanban quantity.
In the replenishment strategy, you defined that a load carrier
corresponds to a kanban and when creating the event-driven kanbans, you
    entered several load carriers.
This results in several kanbans and therefore several planned orders
    being created in one step.

    System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    How to fix this error?

Set the system so that when using the replenishment strategy <LS>Process
with Planned Orders/Planning with MRP</>, only one kanban is created
per posting step and, therefore, only one planned order per posting step
    is created.

The SAP error message PK460, which states "Creation of several planned orders with one action is not possible," typically occurs in the context of production planning and scheduling within the SAP system. This error indicates that the system is unable to create multiple planned orders simultaneously due to certain constraints or settings.

    Causes:

    1. Configuration Settings: The system may be configured to allow only single planned order creation for certain materials or production processes.

    Solutions:

    1. Check Configuration: Review the configuration settings in the production planning module to ensure that multiple planned orders can be created. This may involve checking the settings for the relevant order types and materials.
    2. Batch Management Settings: If batch management is enabled, verify the settings to see if they are causing the restriction. You may need to adjust the batch management settings or create planned orders individually.
    3. Review Order Types: Check the specific order types being used and their associated settings. Ensure that they allow for the creation of multiple planned orders.
    4. Material Availability Check: Ensure that all necessary materials are available and that there are no constraints preventing the creation of planned orders.
    5. User Authorizations: Verify that the user has the necessary authorizations to create multiple planned orders. If not, consult with your SAP security team to adjust the user roles.
    6. Use Alternative Methods: If the system continues to restrict multiple planned order creation, consider creating planned orders one at a time or using batch processing methods if available.
