  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

You want to delete a kanban container that does not have the status
    "waiting".

    System Response

This is not possible because the kanban container is still in
circulation. For example, replenishment has been triggered for empty
kanban containers or there is still material in full kanban containers.

    How to fix this error?

Lock the kanban container. After the status sequence has run, the system
automatically sets the status of this kanban container to "WAIT" and not
    to "EMPTY".

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

In exceptional cases, you can also use the kanban correction to set the
status of kanban containers to "WAIT". However, in this case you must
reject the already triggered replenishment and manually move the
material from the full kanban containers to a proper location.
