You have chosen->Display in/out->Cardinalities. On this and the
following screens the cardinalities of the relationships will be
    displayed.
If the relationship class A ---> class B has the cardinality 0..1, then
either no or at most one object of the class B can be assigned to an
    object of the class A.
If the relationship class A ---> class B has the cardinality 0..*, then
no, one or many objects of the class B can be assigned to an object of
    the class A.

  • What is the cause and solution for SAP error message ON107 - Cardinalities are displayed ?

The SAP error message ON107, which states "Cardinalities are displayed," typically occurs in the context of data modeling or when working with the SAP Business Warehouse (BW) or SAP HANA. This message is not necessarily an error but rather an informational message indicating that cardinalities (the relationships between entities in a data model) are being displayed.

    Cause:

The message ON107 is usually triggered when you are working with data models, such as InfoObjects, InfoProviders, or when defining relationships between tables in SAP BW or HANA. It indicates that the system is showing the cardinalities of the relationships defined in the model, which can help users understand how data entities are related to one another.

    Solution:

Since ON107 is an informational message rather than an error, there is no specific "solution" required to resolve it. However, if you are looking to address any underlying issues or to better understand the cardinalities being displayed, consider the following steps:

    1. Review Cardinalities: Check the cardinalities displayed in the model. Ensure that they accurately represent the relationships between the entities. Cardinalities can be one-to-one, one-to-many, or many-to-many.

    2. Adjust Relationships: If the cardinalities do not reflect the intended relationships, you may need to adjust the relationships in your data model. This can involve modifying the data model configuration or the underlying database schema.

    3. Documentation: Refer to SAP documentation or guides related to data modeling in BW or HANA for more detailed information on how to interpret and manage cardinalities.

    4. Consult with Experts: If you are unsure about the implications of the cardinalities or how to adjust them, consider consulting with a data modeler or an SAP BW/HANA expert.

    Related Information:

    • Cardinality Types: Understanding the types of cardinalities (one-to-one, one-to-many, many-to-many) is crucial for effective data modeling.
