Message text: Natural gas test density is zero; enter a test density
The test density/relative test density of the natural gas product is
zero.
Enter a valid density/relative density. This message can be customized
to appear as a warning, error or information message (Transaction O591).
The AGA c-codes or customer specific routines can calculate a base
density. Thus, it might not be necessary to enter a test density. If the
Quantity Conversion Interface (QCI) is utilized to convert between
volumes and energies only, a density value may also not be required.
Then, this message should be turned off (Transaction O591).
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

O3306
- Natural gas test density is zero; enter a test density ?The SAP error message O3306, which states "Natural gas test density is zero; enter a test density," typically occurs in the context of managing natural gas data within the SAP system, particularly in modules related to logistics, materials management, or energy management.
Cause:
This error indicates that the system is attempting to process a transaction or record related to natural gas, but the test density value for the gas is missing or set to zero. Test density is a critical parameter in the measurement and management of natural gas, as it affects calculations related to volume, mass, and energy content.
Solution:
To resolve this error, you need to enter a valid test density value for the natural gas in question. Here are the steps you can take:
Identify the Record: Determine which record or transaction is causing the error. This could be related to a material master record, a measurement document, or a transaction involving natural gas.
Access the Relevant Data:
- If the error is related to a material master, navigate to the material master record for the natural gas in question (transaction code MM02).
- If it is related to a measurement document, access the relevant measurement document.
Enter Test Density:
- Locate the field for test density. This may be found under the relevant tab (e.g., Basic Data, Measurement, or similar).
- Enter a valid test density value. This value should be based on the specifications or standards applicable to the natural gas being measured.
Save Changes: After entering the test density, save the changes to the record.
Reprocess the Transaction: If applicable, reattempt the transaction that previously resulted in the error.
Related Information:
By following these steps, you should be able to resolve the O3306 error and ensure that your natural gas data is accurately maintained in the SAP system.
