  • What causes this issue?

It has been determined that a material that has to be converted appears
more than once in the database. The database tables MARA and MATERIALID
    are therefore partly incorrect.

    System Response

The system could not completely activate/deactivate the MPN conversion.

    How to fix this error?

Change the material master of the material specified in the message.
Change the MPN or enter a new MPN (field MARA-MFRPN), or expand the
converted expression by adding an external manufacturer (field
    LFA1-EMNFR).
If this does not work, go to table MATERIALID using transaction SE16,
and search for duplicates in the primary key MATNR_INT and in the
secondary key MATNR_EXT, and change them, where necessary.
    Then, repeat activation/deactivation.

    Procedure for System Administrators

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
