    Why is it relevant?
    Reference points serve the assignment of BOM items to network
    activities. The component demand (reservation) is assigned to a
    different network activity than what is defined by the reference points.
    Possible Reasons:
    Production engineer manually assigned the component to an individually
    selected network activity in BOM transfer (transaction CN33_N)
    or
    Reference point in network activity was changed after BOM transfer
    or
    Reference point in BOM item was changed after BOM transfer

    System Response

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    How to fix this error?

    Fix:
    Accept warning
    or
    Change reference point either in BOM item or network activity (app
    ?Manage Bill of Material? with item selected or transaction CJ20N with
    network activity selected). Subsequently re-explode current BOM version
    or
    Assign component to a different network activity just by re-exploding
    current BOM version
