There are two possible causes for this message:
You have not assigned any components to the structure material &V1&.
You have not assigned an empties BOM to the full product &V1&.
If your system administration has configured the message as a warning,
you can save the material without any components. However, you must then
enter the components at a later point.
Articles without components lead to problems in the subsequent logistics
processes (such as goods receipt). This means that you must assign
components to the material before you list it. In integrated article
maintenance, you cannot list a structured material without components.
However, if you use external listing programs, the system does not check
whether any components or an empties BOM exists. This means that an
inconsistently maintained material could become a part of the logistics
processes.
