Message class: M7 - Inventory Management and Physical Inventory
Message number: 411
Message text: Book value refers to first count
You changed the value counted for an item.
The entry is allowed, but note that the book value relevant for the
count is that entered at the time of the first count; that is, even if
the book value has now changed on account of a goods movement, this
makes no difference to the count (since the count - at sales price
value - is recorded at a particular point in time).
Only change the value you entered during the first count to correct
typing errors (if you types in the wrong figure). If you counted the
value of the stock again after making the first count, do not change
the count. Instead enter a re-count.
