What causes this issue?

Parts of this text similar to message long text LEDSP 069
By splitting delivery &V1& item &V2&, you have reached the allowed
number of partial deliveries (&V3&). However, since order &V4& has not
been delivered completely, it is not possible to split this delivery
item.

System Response

The system does not allow you to split this delivery.

How to fix this error?

Reduce the amount of deliveries that were created during this split
or
Increase the number of allowed deliveries in the sales order that
delivery &V1& is based on (sales order &V4&).

You can activate or deactivate a check of the number of partial
deliveries per delivery type and split profile in
<DS:SIMG.SIMG_CFMENUOLSDOVDSP>Customizing</> for the subsequent delivery
split.
