Message text: Multiple picking not allowed for delivery
For a TO item with reference to a delivery, you wish to pick a larger
quantity than the quantity requested. This is only possible for handling
units when the picked quantity can be copied into the delivery as the
delivery quantity.
The input of a quantity larger than the requested quantity is rejected
by the system.
You have to allow for a picked quantity to be copied into the delivery
as the delivery quantity. To do this, two options are available:
On the initial screen of the confirmation transaction (transaction code
LT12), you make a respective entry in the field "Copy pick qty".
In Customizing, you set the WM movement type accordingly.

This can happen in various scenarios, such as when trying to pick items from different storage locations or when the delivery is set up in a way that does not permit multiple picking operations.
Cause:
- Delivery Configuration: The delivery may be configured to allow only single picking, which means that the system does not permit picking from multiple storage locations or batches for the same delivery.

- Item Characteristics: The items in the delivery may have characteristics that prevent multiple picking, such as batch management or specific storage conditions.
- Picking Strategy: The picking strategy defined for the delivery may not support multiple picking, leading to this error.
Solution:
- Check Delivery Configuration: Review the delivery document to ensure that it is set up correctly. If multiple picking is required, you may need to adjust the configuration settings.
- Adjust Warehouse Management Settings: If you have access, check the warehouse management settings to see if there are restrictions on multiple picking for the relevant storage types or materials.
- Review Picking Strategy: Analyze the picking strategy assigned to the delivery. If it is set to a strategy that does not allow multiple picking, consider changing it to one that does.
