    You have attempted to set a different output type for the report.

    where no compulsory hierarchy is defined for any of the
    characteristics.

    How to fix this error?

    Check if the characteristic (or characteristics), for which the
    hierarchy is defined, can be removed from the report. If this is not
    possible, choose an output type with which hierarchies can be output
    (for example the output type "classic drilldown report").
