What causes this issue?

It was found that the characteristic '&V1&' has not yet been selected.
However this characteristic is required for the key figure '&V2&'.
The reason is that characteristic '&V1&' is a currency-bearing
characteristic. For example, you can have a key figure 'Sales in
company code currency'. In this case, the company code is the
currency-bearing characteristic. This means that it must be selected if
the corresponding key figure is used.

System Response

The characteristic '&V1&' was selected automatically by the System (see
'characteristic selection' screen). Since this is a required entry you
can not undo the selection on this screen. This only becomes possible
when you have no more key figures selected which require '&V1&'.

How to fix this error?

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
