CAUSE&
The fixed part of aspect data structures has been changed in Release
4.x (see the corresponding <DS:RELN.EC_EIS_40A_ASPUMSETZ>Release
information</>).
The aspect currently being worked on is an old version and must be
converted.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

Schedule the aspect data structure for the conversion (push- button in
previous dialog box). On the database utilities screen that appears
next (SE14) you will see the message that a mass processing order
"Force conversion" was entered for the aspect table (this was created
online from the aspect maintenance). You can now start the conversion
directly or in the background (job). With large quantities of data it
is recommended that you select the background variant.
If you want to convert directly (online) press the pushbutton "Activate
and adjust database". The conversion starts at once, a log is produced
once it is finished.
If you want to convert in the background, you can schedule using the
pushbutton "Display others" on the following screen and then end the
dialog. At a later date you can call up the database utilities again
(SE14) in order to establish whether the conversion was completed.

The conversion program can be restarted. If an error occurs for
whatever reason (for example, the work space on the database is too
small for conversion), the conversion can be restarted (after
appropriate modification by the database administrator).
