The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

Use error analysis to adjust the controlling area data.
Do not carry out your changes. If, however, they are necessary, you
must check master data, transaction data, and Financial Accounting to
see whether you can change the currency and/or chart of accounts in the
controlling area. If so, deactivate the "Productive" indicator in the
company code, change the controlling area, and activate the indicator
again.
