KP211
- All activity prices are manually entered ?The SAP error message KP211 ("All activity prices are manually entered") typically occurs in the context of controlling (CO) when you are trying to perform a transaction that involves activity price calculation, such as in cost center accounting or internal orders. This message indicates that the system has detected that all activity prices for the specified cost center or internal order have been manually entered, and therefore, it cannot automatically calculate or derive the activity prices.
Cause:
- Manual Entry of Activity Prices: The primary cause of this error is that all activity prices for the relevant cost center or internal order have been manually entered, which prevents the system from using any predefined or calculated prices.
- Configuration Settings: The configuration settings in the controlling module may be set to require manual entry of activity prices, or the system may not have the necessary data to calculate them automatically.
- Missing Master Data: There may be missing or incomplete master data related to the cost centers, activity types, or other relevant components that are necessary for automatic price calculation.
Solution:
- Check Activity Price Configuration: Review the configuration settings for activity prices in the controlling module. Ensure that the system is set up to allow for automatic price calculation if that is the desired behavior.
- Review Manual Entries: If manual entries are necessary, verify that they are correct and complete. If you need to revert to automatic pricing, you may need to delete the manual entries.
- Update Master Data: Ensure that all relevant master data (cost centers, activity types, etc.) is complete and correctly configured. This includes checking that the activity types are assigned to the cost centers and that the necessary price determination settings are in place.
- Use Transaction KP26: If you need to enter or adjust activity prices, you can use transaction KP26 to maintain activity prices for cost centers or internal orders.
- Consult Documentation: Refer to SAP documentation or help resources for specific guidance on managing activity prices and resolving related issues.
