Message text: Warning: All allocations will be completely reversed (see long text)
You called up the "Reset" function in transaction &V1&. This will
reverse all allocations from this transaction for the given period and
version. Other object-specific limitations are ignored.
This function is intended for a complete resetting of data in cases of
serious error. It is not necessary in normal processing, because
repeating a run will normally correct changes from the last run. Any
incorrect allocation therefore corrects itself.
After confirmation, the R/3 System resets all affected data. You cannot
undo this reversal.
Check that you really want to execute this function. As a rule,
repeating normal processing is a better solution.

- Warning: All allocations will be completely reversed (see long text) ?The SAP error message KI720, which states "Warning: All allocations will be completely reversed," typically occurs in the context of cost allocations in SAP Controlling (CO). This warning indicates that the system has detected a situation where the allocations you are trying to perform will not be executed as intended, and instead, they will be reversed.
Cause:
The warning can be triggered by several factors, including:
Incorrect Configuration: The allocation structure or rules may not be set up correctly, leading to a situation where the system cannot process the allocations as expected.
Missing Master Data: Required master data (such as cost centers, internal orders, or activity types) may be missing or incorrectly maintained.
Allocation Cycle Issues: The allocation cycle may have been defined incorrectly, or the sender and receiver objects may not be properly linked.
Data Consistency Issues: There may be inconsistencies in the data that prevent the allocation from being processed correctly.
Reversal Settings: The settings for the allocation may be configured to reverse previous allocations, which can lead to this warning if the system determines that all allocations will be reversed.
Solution:
To resolve the KI720 warning, you can take the following steps:
Check Allocation Configuration: Review the allocation cycle configuration in the SAP system. Ensure that all sender and receiver objects are correctly defined and linked.
Verify Master Data: Ensure that all necessary master data is available and correctly maintained. This includes checking cost centers, internal orders, and any other relevant objects.
Review Allocation Rules: Check the allocation rules to ensure they are set up correctly. Make sure that the rules do not inadvertently lead to a complete reversal of allocations.
Analyze Data Consistency: Run consistency checks on the relevant data to identify any discrepancies that may be causing the issue.
