SAP Error Message - Details

  • Message type: E = Error

  • Message class: KD - CO Settlement

  • Message number: 292

  • Message text: Distribution rules for planned settlement cannot be created

  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

The sender only has distribution rules for "Settlement actual". The
first time you settle the plan for the sender, these rules are copied
and added under "Settlement plan". When rule are created, you need to
ensure that no more than &V1& rules (plan and actual together) may be
created for the sender (compare settlement profile &V2& for the sender)

    How to fix this error?

Check whether the maxiumn number of rules is correctly set in the
    settlement profile.
    <DS:TRAN.OKOA>Display settlement profile</>.
Check the actual settlement rules too. You can access the sender
settlement rule via master data maintenance.
You can switch between the plan and actual settlement views via the
"Goto" menu in settlement rule maintenance. For technical reasons, it
may not always be possible for rules to be created automatically, even
if this would not lead to too many rules being created. This might be
the case, for example, if you entered actual settlement rules and then
deleted them. If this happens, create the distribution rules for plan
    settlement manually.
