Message type: E = Error
Message class: KD - CO Settlement
Message number: 111
Message text: Rules & and & contradict each other in the settlement share
In distribution rule &V1&, a percentage value was entered, while in
rule &V2&, there is an equivalence number. Both rules belong to the
same settlment type and overlap each other in the validity period.
The system cannot clearly determine the settlement portions for the
affected settlement rules. Note that this message is only issued when
the problem first occurs. You should therefore check all distribution
rules and not just the rules &V1& and &V2&.
For rules with the same order type, use either percentage values only,
or equivalence numbers only.
You can switch from percentage settlement for the settlement to
equivalence numbers (or the other way round). To do this, you must
enter the validity periods for the rules so that no rule with
percentage settlement is valid in the same period as a rule with
equivalence numbers.

KD111
- Rules & and & contradict each other in the settlement share ?The SAP error message KD111, which states "Rules & and & contradict each other in the settlement share," typically occurs in the context of settlement in controlling (CO) when there are conflicting rules defined for the settlement of costs or revenues. This error is often encountered when trying to settle internal orders, projects, or cost centers.
Cause:
The error arises due to the following reasons:
Conflicting Settlement Rules: There are multiple settlement rules defined for the same object (e.g., internal order, project) that contradict each other. For example, one rule may specify a certain percentage of costs to be settled to one cost center, while another rule may specify a different percentage to the same or another cost center.

Check Master Data:
- Verify that all relevant master data (cost centers, internal orders, etc.) is correctly set up and that there are no inconsistencies.
Test Settlement:
