  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

You have put the periods in the rows or columns of the layout..
simultaneously a quantity key-figure without a fixed unit was chosen in
    the column '&V1&'.

    System Response

If entries are only made for one period, you can ignore this message.
Otherwise no entries can be made for the unit of the quantity key
figure as no differing units can be included per period with otherwise
    equal characteristic values.

    How to fix this error?

    There are other possibilities:
Put the periods in the general selections. An entry for the unit can
then be carried out during the data entry in the overview screen.
Set the unit column of the column '&V1&' to 'not ready for input' (Menu
path: Formatting -->Ready for input y/n).

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    Attention
In the last case you couldn't make any entries for the key-figure
without a fixed unit, as entries without a unit are not accepted.

This error indicates that there is an issue with the configuration of a report or planning layout where a column that is defined as a unit of measure is being set to input-ready, which is not allowed.

    Cause:

    1. Column Configuration: The column in question (denoted by '&1') is defined as a unit of measure in the report or planning layout. Input-ready columns are expected to accept user input, but unit columns are generally calculated or derived values that should not be modified directly by users.

      • Navigating to the report or layout configuration.
      • Identifying the column settings for the unit of measure.
      • Changing the input-ready setting to "not input-ready" for that specific column.
    2. Modify Layout: If necessary, modify the layout to ensure that only appropriate columns are set to input-ready. This may involve:

      • Removing the input-ready attribute from the unit column.
      • Ensuring that other columns that require user input are correctly configured.
    3. Consult Documentation: Refer to SAP documentation or help resources for guidelines on configuring reports and planning layouts, especially regarding input-ready settings.

    4. Testing: After making changes, test the report or planning layout to ensure that the error no longer occurs and that the layout functions as intended.
