  • What causes this issue?

    There are overlapping cost element intervals in the cost element groups
    you entered as the source in settlement assignments &V1& and &V2& for
    settlement structure &V3&. This means that there are cost elements that
    are allocated to both settlement assignments, and the settlement to the
    settlement cost element is not unique.
    The problem occurred in controlling area &V4&.

    System Response

    When you are in the settlement structure maintenance this message is
    only a warning. You can skip the message by choosing "Enter" to carry
    out corrections.
    When you save the settlement structure, the message appears as
    information. The system always saves the settlement structure. You
    should, however, correct the error as soon as possible. Otherwise
    errors can occur during settlement.

    How to fix this error?

    Overcome the overlapping by
    entering other cost element groups, or by
    changing the cost element groups you have already entered.
    You can display the cost element intervals for the cost element groups
    you have entered by double-clicking or by choosing the display icon
    next to the cost element group.
    You can change the group you have entered through the menu
    <ZH>Extras->Cost_element_group->Change</>. To do this, position the
    cursor on the cost element group.
    If you want to create a new cost element group, enter a group that has
    not yet been created and choose "Enter". The system then creates the
    group at your request.
    You can get an overview of the settlement structure, including the cost
    element groups you have used, through the menu path
    <ZH>Extras->Overview_list</>
