  • What causes this issue?

    You want to assign a document to the task list at header level and set
    the status of the task list to <LB>released</>. However, the document
    with visualized spare parts has document type &V1&, whose documents can
    be assigned to the task list at header level, but not to the maintenance
    order at header level.

    System Response

    The system issues an error message. You cannot release the task list
    with this document assignment or include it in a maintenance order
    because due to the missing Customizing settings, you would not be able
    to open the assigned document in the maintenance order.

    How to fix this error?

    If you want to assign the document with document type &V1& to the task
    list but you do not want to allow documents with this document type to
    be assigned to the maintenance order at header level, choose a different
    status for the task list other than <LB>released</>.
    Check your settings for this document type in Customizing for <ZK>
    Cross-Application Components</> under <ZK>Document Management</> -> <ZK>
    Visual Enterprise Generator</> -> <DS:SIMG.DMS_VEG_SRCH_SEQ>Define
    Search Sequence for Viewable File</>.
    If you want to allow documents with document type &V1& to be assigned to
    the maintenance order at header level, assign this document type to the
    SAP object <LB>PMAUFK</> (<ZK>Maintenance Order</>), to the viewing
    application <LB>Spare Parts</> (for document type <LB>SP</>) or <LB>
    Visual Instructions</> (for document type <LB>VI</>), and to the
    workstation application <LB>RH</> for the usage <LB>PM</>.
