  • What causes this issue?

    You are trying to assign a different characteristic to the current
    <DS:GLOS.measuring_point>measuring point</>.
    Measurement readings can either be transferred to or from this
    measuring point. This is normally only possible for a chain of
    measuring points with the same characteristic.

    System Response

    To avoid making necessary changes more complicated, the system will
    accept the assignment of a different characteristic, on condition that
    the unit of measurement of the new characteristic has the same
    dimension as the unit of measurement of the old characteristic.

    How to fix this error?

    After you have finished your changes, you should assign the same
    characteristic to all the measuring points in the measurement reading
    transfer chain.
