  • What causes this issue?

    You want to enter a measurement document for measuring point &V1&.
    However, the measuring point is assigned to the characteristic &V2&.
    This characteristic can only be used for entering inspection results in
    the QM application.

    System Response

    Measurement documents for measuring point &V1& can only be generated as
    a result of the transfer of inspection results from QM to PM. It is not
    possible in PM to enter measurement documents directly for this
    measuring point.

    How to fix this error?

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
