As user 'informix', change to directory
'$INFORMIXDIR/gls/lc11/os'. Generate a symbolic link there with
'ln -s german.iso88591 de_DE.iso88591'. The entry
'de_DE.iso88591' should always be a link. It is not advisable to
generate a file - as a copy of 'german.iso88591'.
