SAP Error Message - Details

  • Message type: E = Error

  • Message class: GS - Sets

  • Message number: 096

  • Message text: You cannot maintain an intervals for this set

  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

You are maintaing a set in field &V2& in table &V1&. You cannot store
intervals in sets for this field, because the stored display of the
field values is determined by an internal number assignment. Therefore,
it is possible, for example, that the From value "A" of an interval in
the internal assignment will be GREATER than the To value "Z", although
this is exactly the opposite in the external display.

    System Response

You are only permitted to enter single values.

    How to fix this error?

If you want to store WBS element or project intervals in sets, you can
create a dynamic basic set. In these special sets, the intervals are
stored in the external display. When the sets are imported, the
intervals are replaced by the current single values in the interval
from the master data of the WBS elements or projects. This can,
however, require a significant amount of time with large intervals.
