Message text: Inconsistencies in the definition of substitution &
The check of step &V3& for substitution &V1& is saved in the system as
rule &V2&. The data of this rule is not compatible with substitution
&V1&.
The code for the substitution was generated incorrectly. The
maintenance or deletion of substitution &V1& is not possible!
You have two possibilities:
You can attempt to restore data consistency for substitution &V1& with
the help of program <DS:REPN.RGUGBT10>RGUGBT10</> by selecting the
first option ("Correct Boolean class"). Afterwards you maintain the
substitution with the help of transaction <DS:TRAN.GGB1>GGB1</> and
attempt to save. If this does not work:
You can delete the substitution with the help of the same program
(<DS:REPN.RGUGBT10>RGUGBT10</>). Here you select the second option
("Delete substitution"). If the substitution is being used, this will
be displayed before the confirmation prompt. Before deleting you can
list the contents of the substitution (as long as the existing data
allows it) in transaction <DS:TRAN.GGB1>GGB1</> with the
"Substitution->Print" function.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

This error suggests that there are discrepancies or conflicts in the configuration of substitution rules, which are used to automatically replace certain values or fields during data entry or processing. Causes of GB094 Error Conflicting Substitution Rules: There may be multiple substitution rules defined that conflict with each other, leading to inconsistencies. Incorrect Configuration: The substitution rules may not be correctly configured, such as missing required fields or incorrect logical conditions. Changes in Master Data: If there have been recent changes to master data (like cost centers, profit centers, etc.), it may lead to inconsistencies in the substitution definitions. Transport Issues: If the substitution rules were transported from one system to another (e.g., from development to production), there may be inconsistencies due
