How To Fix G3117 - Combined ID and specified ID (&2, &1) do not match

SAP Error Message - Details

  • Message type: E = Error

  • Message class: G3 - Messages for SAP Consolidation: Integration

  • Message number: 117

  • Message text: Combined ID and specified ID (&2, &1) do not match

  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

The current ID for organizational unit &V1& does not coincide with
combined ID &V2&. If transaction data is collected by means of
integration, the system determines that data is to be posted to cons
    unit &V2& instead of &V1&.

    How to fix this error?

Check whether you can use the name &V2&, which the system derived from
the ID combination rules, instead of &V1&. This will not be possible
if, for example, transaction data for cons unit &V1& exists in the
    system.
If &V1& can be replaced with &V2&, you should first delete cons unit
&V1&, then manually create cons unit &V2&, and manually integrate this
unit using the program provided. Cons unit &V2& will then be found
automatically by the system during integrated data collection.
If &V1& cannot be replaced by &V2&, use the function exit 100 in the
SAP enhancement FMC10010 (for more information, see the documentation
for this enhancement) to specify that the system should use &V1&
instead of &V2&. Bear in mind that the correct cons unit can only be
determined by the system once the enhancement has been activated within
    a project.
