  • What causes this issue?

Document type &V3& is assigned to task &V1& for manual posting in
consolidation version &V2& for a certain period of time. However, this
document type does not exist in target dimension &V4&. The assignment
is therefore invalid in that dimension.

    System Response

Task &V1& will be copied but the period-dependent assignment of a
document type will not be simultaneously copied for consolidation v
ersion &V2& and all dependent consolidation versions.

    How to fix this error?

If you still want to use manual posting task &V1& with consolidation
version &V2&, you need to enter the missing assignments in the target
    dimension.
You can only make an identical copy of the source dimension if you also
copy document type &V3&. You can do this by rerunning the copy program
(after running it in update mode). You need to make the following
    settings on the selection screen:
Select document type &V3& in addition to the settings used previously.
Select the indicator "Existing settings: Do not change".
Alternatively, you can manually assign a document type to task &V1& as
    follows:
    Change the global parameters:
Switch to the target dimension &V4&.
    Select consolidation version &V2&.
Perform the activity "Manual Posting -> Define Tasks" in Consolidation
    Customizing.
